Description

  • Own the design, development, and execution of iOS test automation and associated processes.
  • Develop iOS mobile UI automation (using XCUITest and Swift) and maintain automated test scripts.
  • Develop new automation frameworks, improve existing ones, and implement automated test suites and test cases.
  • Work with leadership and cross-platform teams to identify challenges and recommend quality and framework improvements.
  • Implement process improvements for automation development and execution, and bring efficiencies with CI/CD and cloud solutions.
  • Participate in tool and technology selection and create proof-of-concept models for new technologies.
  • Analyze which features/functions should be automated and participate in test planning and strategy.
  • Monitor, consolidate, analyze, debug, and communicate automation test results.
  • Create and manage test data and database population needed for test execution; participate in continual code maintenance and refactoring.

Requirements

  • Strong coding knowledge and experience in object-oriented development languages (Java, Swift, etc.).
  • Deep experience developing test automation (unit, functional, integrated, or end-to-end).
  • Experience developing iOS UI automation using XCUITest and Swift (or willingness to learn Swift).
  • Experience with version control and defect tracking tools (Bitbucket, GitHub, TestRail, Jira, or similar).
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Bamboo, BuddyBuild, or Jenkins.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum/Kanban/DevOps processes and project management tools.
  • Experience applying algorithms and design patterns to solve complex problems.
  • Strong organization, planning, and prioritization skills with ability to handle concurrent activities under time constraints.
  • Demonstrated collaboration experience across diverse teams including product, development, and QA.
  • Nice to have: scripting experience in a Linux environment and familiarity with Objective-C, JavaScript, Ruby, or Python.
