Description

  • Drive the development of solution architecture and data pipeline connectors that automate data flow between client systems and Arcadia’s analytics platform.
  • Improve how data pipelines are designed and documented.
  • Identify high-leverage improvement projects and drive them through completion.
  • Participate in peer code reviews, sprint planning, product grooming, Jira task management, and peer test reviews.
  • Contribute to multiple implementations at the same time, including new customer onboarding and enhancements for existing customers.
  • Deliver work on expected timelines and escalate risks to leadership when needed.
  • Work independently while applying critical thinking and problem-solving to complex technical issues.
  • Develop deeper understanding of Arcadia’s systems, technical stack, data models, and development cycle.
  • Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Implementation to build tools and improve data integration capabilities.
  • Standardize data connector development and help improve abstraction patterns.

Requirements

  • 5-8 years of post-graduate experience in a relevant industry role, or a graduate-level degree.
  • 5+ years of experience with SQL (preferred).
  • 3+ years of experience with Python (preferred).
  • 4+ years of experience with Spark (preferred).
  • 2-3 years of experience with database architecture (preferred).
  • 1-2 years of experience with cloud architecture (preferred).
  • 2-4 years of experience with healthcare data (preferred).
  • 1-3 years of experience with healthcare analytics (preferred).
  • Experience with AWS services such as S3 and EC2 (2-3 years preferred).
  • Experience with NiFi, Kafka, and Java (3-5 years preferred each).
