Description

Work on a defined summer internship project with a clear deliverable.
Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain internal tools used by the engineering team.
Collaborate with a host engineer and cross-functional teams.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to team engineering standards.
Present project outcomes at the end of the internship.
Identify and deliver a valuable project that developers use daily.
Build tooling that helps the team iterate quickly and reliably deliver robot software.

Requirements

Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, with expected graduation between December 2026 and June 2028.
Proficiency in one or more of C++, Python, or JavaScript/TypeScript.
Familiarity with Git and collaborative development workflows.
Comfort working in a Linux/command-line environment.
Experience developing software with coding agents such as Claude Code, Cursor, and/or GitHub Copilot.
Exposure to CI/CD pipelines, Docker, or container-based workflows (bonus).
Experience building developer tools, CLI utilities, IDE extensions, or internal platforms (bonus).
Interest in developer experience, automation, and tooling (bonus).
