Description

  • Develop a long-term procurement strategy and secure cross-functional buy-in.
  • Create and execute RFx sourcing strategies.
  • Lead strategic sourcing for high-performance GPU clusters, edge-compute modules, and specialized sensors for autonomous defense platforms.
  • Partner with Engineering from the prototyping phase to ensure hardware meets SWaP-C requirements.
  • Develop procurement processes in compliance with FAR, DFARS, and corporate policies.
  • Ensure readiness and compliance for DCMA Purchasing System Reviews (CPSR).
  • Build and maintain strong supplier relationships while negotiating contracts with industry-leading vendors.
  • Reduce cost and increase value across deals, contracts, and products.
  • Influence internal and external stakeholders to drive procurement outcomes.
  • Lead process improvement projects to increase efficiency and impact.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, commodity management, global supply management, or a similar field.
  • 2+ years of experience leading Physical AI or Robotics commodity procurement.
  • Experience sourcing high-performance compute (GPUs/FPGA), edge-processing units, or advanced sensing suites such as LiDAR, Radar, or EO/IR.
  • Expertise with FAR, DFARS, DCMA audits, and CPSR.
  • Experience in DoD, aerospace, and/or defense contracting environments.
  • Strong sense of urgency and strategic thinking.
  • Highly effective executive-level communication skills.
  • Exceptional negotiation skills.
  • Ability to make concrete decisions in ambiguous, fast-paced environments.
  • Thorough understanding of complex contract structures.
  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, finance, business, or a similar field.
  • MBA preferred.
  • Experience with Google tools such as Google Sheets and Google Docs preferred.
  • Professional experience using Slack preferred.
  • Experience working in a rapidly evolving startup environment preferred.
