Description

  • Advise federal customers on the technical design, architecture, and implementation of Appian solutions across private cloud, on-premise, and government cloud environments.
  • Support the sales cycle by creating differentiated technical solutions, delivery roadmaps, and program management approaches.
  • Present integrated solutions and complex technical concepts to customers and other stakeholders.
  • Support customers with configuration, testing, deployment, and operations of Appian applications using agile delivery methods and Appian best practices.
  • Guide clients on development practices, program governance, delivery automation, DevSecOps, and infrastructure automation.
  • Lead the definition and development of Appian Customer Success innovations and offerings.
  • Collect, analyze, and consolidate technical challenges into shared best practices and common solutions.
  • Support the development and review of whitepapers, proposals, and pre-sales solutioning materials.
  • Work with client enterprise architecture teams to design and implement scalable solutions.
  • Maintain awareness of market trends and emerging customer requirements to shape future offerings.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience advising customers on government cloud computing platform design and implementation.
  • At least 10 years of experience in multi-tier application design and architecture.
  • Experience architecting secure cloud-based hosting solutions for federal customers using AWS, Google Cloud Platform, and/or Microsoft Azure.
  • Leadership experience designing, architecting, or delivering enterprise-level cloud environments such as C2S, JWICS, or GovCloud.
  • Experience authoring federal proposals and whitepapers.
  • Strong experience managing federal programs and projects and leading IT delivery using agile frameworks such as Scrum and SAFe.
  • Experience accelerating IT solutions under the federal government's Risk Management Framework, preferred.
  • Experience designing and implementing DevSecOps pipelines and infrastructure automation frameworks using tools such as Jenkins, Puppet, Ansible, SaltStack, Cucumber, JMeter, and FitNesse, preferred.
  • Certified Scrum Master or other agile certification required; PMP certification preferred; AWS, Google, or Azure certification is a plus.
  • US citizenship required.
  • Ability to obtain a US government public trust and/or DoD clearance; TS/SCI with CI Poly strongly preferred.
  • Willingness to travel 10-15%, including to SCIF locations.
