Description

  • Become an expert in delivering Appgate’s value proposition and sales presentation.
  • Schedule qualified sales meetings and generate qualified pipeline through account research, outbound prospecting, and inbound lead follow-up.
  • Partner with the Sr. Director of Commercial Sales and Customer Success Managers to create and execute upsell and expansion campaigns for existing customers.
  • Drive sales pursuits from cold call through close with support from the Sr. Director of Commercial Sales.
  • Help grow the channel ecosystem by strengthening relationships with resellers, technology alliance partners, and MSP partners in the territory.
  • Own the assigned territory and build momentum within the channel partner ecosystem.
  • Collaborate with internal sales and customer success stakeholders to drive regional performance and growth.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of relevant sales experience in BDR, SDR, Channel Sales, or Inside Sales roles.
  • Experience selling information technology, network services, or cybersecurity solutions is preferred.
  • Strong work ethic, personal accountability, and self-motivation in a virtual team structure.
  • Demonstrated history of outperforming peers and taking on increasing responsibility.
  • Strong organizational skills and a task- and goal-driven approach to daily and weekly activity targets.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Strong follow-up skills to build trust with external and internal stakeholders.
  • Proficiency with sales tools such as Salesforce, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and Outreach.
  • Commitment to continuous learning about Appgate solutions, the market, competition, customer stories, and sales skills.
  • Ability and willingness to travel within the territory as needed.
