Description

  • Own the end-to-end demo environment estate, including Atlassian provisioning, seeded datasets, reference environments, and environment refreshes and teardown.
  • Build and maintain self-service sandbox environments for Solution Partners.
  • Design and implement automation that reduces technical overhead and improves time-to-demo for Sales Engineering and Solutions Architecture teams.
  • Maintain technical knowledge bases for security questionnaires, RFPs, and trust center responses.
  • Run Instance Optimization inventory extracts and pricing pulls for consolidation assessments.
  • Transition successful field-built prototypes to production, owning code, hosting, deployment, and ongoing support with Engineering and DevOps.
  • Define and enforce graduation criteria for prototypes moving from pilot to production.
  • Monitor demo environment health, provisioning performance, and capacity, resolving technical bottlenecks proactively.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in platform engineering, DevOps, or systems engineering.
  • Experience supporting sales engineering, solutions, or presales organizations is preferred.
  • Experience administering and provisioning Atlassian Cloud and/or Data Center environments, including Jira, Confluence, or Bitbucket.
  • Experience building and operating self-service sandbox or demo environments, including lifecycle management and seeded or synthetic data.
  • Strong experience with infrastructure automation, scripting in Python or Bash, and Infrastructure-as-Code practices.
  • Practical experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD tooling.
  • Experience productionizing existing tools or prototypes through code review, hosting, deployment, and support.
  • Strong written communication skills for technical documentation, runbooks, and knowledge bases serving technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to collaborate across Solutions, Sales Engineering, Product Engineering, and DevOps in a fast-moving environment.
