Description

  • Build production-ready models and data products for Subscriber Views and Subscriber Metrics.
  • Solve modeling problems for viewership attribution, sports data, TV providers, and generative models on mixed data sources.
  • Explore large, messy datasets to identify patterns and ship new product features.
  • Extend and improve the core Python data science library used by the team.
  • Speed up existing code and make it scale to larger datasets.
  • Conduct R&D on new datasets and methods to answer business questions.
  • Build LLM-powered pipelines and agents with validated evaluation sets and pass/fail checks.
  • Use agentic coding tools as part of the daily workflow while producing well-tested, well-documented code.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, including co-founders, and explain technical and system design decisions clearly.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience building machine learning models and data products in Python.
  • Expert-level Python skills with strong object-oriented design and software system design.
  • Experience writing high-quality, testable, production-grade code.
  • Strong understanding of machine learning concepts and model evaluation.
  • Strong SQL skills with large, complex datasets.
  • Experience with Git and cloud environments, preferably Google Cloud and BigQuery.
  • Ability to debug complex distributed systems and optimize for performance and scale.
  • Advanced English proficiency (B2-C1) with strong communication, teamwork, and consulting skills.
  • Experience using agentic coding tools daily; interview process tests this directly.
  • Ability to verify LLM outputs against ground truth and build simple eval sets or labeled samples.
  • Preferred: experience in the Subscription Economy, media and entertainment, or media data/data clean rooms.
  • Preferred: hands-on experience with PyTorch, TensorFlow, MLOps, synthetic data, or generative models.
  • Preferred: experience with Apache Spark/PySpark or Dask.
  • Preferred: experience deploying services with Docker, Cloud Run, GKE, or Dataproc.
  • Preferred: experience building LLM agents or pipelines with LangGraph, Pydantic AI, or OpenAI Agents SDK.
  • Preferred: familiarity with LLM evaluation, observability, RAG, context engineering, BI tools, or open-source contributions.
  • Required proficiency stack includes Python, SQL, Git, Google Cloud, Pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, Docker, Kubernetes, and AI tools such as Claude, Gemini, and OpenAI.
