Description

  • Execute flight operations, conduct field maintenance, and provide customer field support and training.
  • Deploy products to austere locations and work alongside customers for extended periods.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex hardware, software, and networking issues in unstructured environments.
  • Communicate field issue status to internal teams and customers.
  • Develop and implement operational and logistical plans for events and deployments.
  • Ensure high availability and performance of aerial systems.
  • Maintain support plans for hardware and software.
  • Support event planning and resource allocation for Technical Operations activities.
  • Perform incident response root-cause analyses for fielded air systems.
  • Conduct post-incident reviews, implement preventive measures, and maintain current documentation.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in technical field operations, deployment execution, or similar hands-on operational roles.
  • Proven ability to master a technical system and support it in austere environments.
  • Advanced troubleshooting skills for complex issues at the interface of hardware, software, and networking.
  • Excellent communication skills with experience leading technical discussions and training peers or customers.
  • Experience mentoring and developing team members.
  • Experience performing data-driven root cause analysis and troubleshooting on complex systems.
  • Willingness to travel up to 80% domestically and internationally, including austere field environments.
  • Eligibility to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret or Top Secret security clearance.
  • Willingness to work with energetics material (warheads).
  • Ability to obtain and maintain 14 CFR Part 107, 14 CFR 61 Ground School, and a FAA Class II Medical.
  • Ability to meet health and medical requirements for deployment under DFARS 252.225-7040, DoDI 3020.41, or regional requirements.
  • Ability to relocate to Atlanta, GA if not already local.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technology, or a related technical field (preferred).
  • Familiarity with Linux/Unix OS and command-line tools for extracting data from software platforms.
  • Proficiency with work order management systems such as JIRA, Foundry, or Odoo, and configuration control processes.
  • Strong understanding of networking, antenna concepts, and spectrum analysis.
  • Experience developing operational and logistics plans for moving people and equipment long distances.
  • Prior military or overseas contracting experience (preferred).
