Description

  • Interface with internal programs and external customers to gather and interpret stakeholder needs.
  • Develop systems engineering artifacts that are accurate, complete, and suitable for contractual delivery and stakeholder review.
  • Serve as a critical interface between Anduril and government customers on systems engineering and mission systems integration efforts.
  • Participate in defining and implementing the company’s digital engineering and systems engineering strategy.
  • Build and maintain systems engineering artifacts that deepen understanding of Anduril platforms, autonomy, simulation, and perception products.
  • Collaborate with functional teams to ensure model-based deliverables support product development, delivery, and sustainment.
  • Support requirements analysis, system design, integration, and testing activities across complex defense systems.
  • Present developed artifacts and engineering outputs in stakeholder meetings and events.

Requirements

  • B.S. in aerospace, mechanical, computer science, or a similar engineering or technical field.
  • 12+ years of systems engineering experience across the full life cycle.
  • Understanding of interoperability and integration challenges in defense systems.
  • Understanding of mission autonomy use cases, behaviors, and methods such as teaming and formation flight.
  • Experience with requirements analysis and system design in a government context.
  • Experience with systems engineering, requirements elicitation and management, integration, and test activities on complex systems such as DoD weapon systems or space systems.
  • Experience with SysML, DoDAF, UAFP, or similar modeling frameworks.
  • Experience developing model-based systems engineering artifacts such as operational viewpoints, system viewpoints, activity diagrams, use case diagrams, BDDs, IBDs, and parametric diagrams.
  • Experience with Cameo MagicDraw or similar systems engineering software such as Rhapsody or SparxEA.
  • Experience with digital engineering workflows and integrated modeling environments such as Teamwork Cloud.
  • Outstanding communication skills, including the ability to present developed artifacts.
  • Current active U.S. Secret security clearance and ability to maintain it.
  • Eligibility to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Top Secret security clearance.
  • Experience as a contributor to the A-GRA standard or as an implementer of an adopting mission autonomy solution, preferred.
  • Experience defining or implementing mission autonomy behaviors through UCI, preferred.
  • Experience with requirements-based testing frameworks, preferred.
  • Experience with mission systems integration for AI-driven decision-making systems, preferred.
  • Understanding of sensor fusion techniques and their application in autonomous systems, preferred.
  • Experience with automation in Cameo or Python relevant to systems engineering use cases, preferred.
  • INCOSE Systems Engineering Professional (SEP) certification, preferred.
