Description

  • Interface with internal programs and external customers to understand stakeholder needs.
  • Develop model-based systems engineering artifacts that are complete, accurate, and suitable for contractual deliverables.
  • Collaborate with functional teams to support development, delivery, and sustainment activities.
  • Present developed artifacts at stakeholder meetings and events.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of Digital and Systems Engineering strategy.
  • Build and maintain systems engineering artifacts that capture the value of Anduril’s platforms, autonomy, simulation, and perception products.
  • Support mission systems integration and broader systems engineering capability development.

Requirements

  • B.S. in aerospace, mechanical, computer science, or a similar engineering or technical field.
  • 12+ years of systems engineering experience across the full lifecycle.
  • Understanding of aerodynamics and propulsion principles as applied to missile systems.
  • Familiarity with guidance, navigation, and control systems for precision-guided munitions.
  • Basic knowledge of reliability engineering concepts and practices.
  • Experience with systems testing and evaluation methodologies.
  • Understanding of threat analysis and its role in weapon system design.
  • Experience with weapon systems integration processes and challenges.
  • Experience with systems engineering, requirements elicitation and management, integration, and test activities on complex systems such as DoD weapon systems or space systems.
  • Experience with SysML, DoDAF, UAFP, or similar tools and frameworks.
  • Experience developing model-based systems engineering artifacts such as operational views, system views, activity diagrams, use case diagrams, BDDs, IBDs, and parametric diagrams.
  • Experience with Cameo MagicDraw or similar systems engineering software such as Rhapsody or SparxEA.
  • Experience with digital engineering workflows and integrated modeling environments such as Teamwork Cloud.
  • Outstanding communication skills, including the ability to present developed artifacts.
  • Active U.S. Secret security clearance that can be maintained.
  • Eligibility to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Top Secret security clearance.
  • Experience with computational fluid dynamics (CFD) or propulsion system modeling (preferred).
  • Familiarity with control system design and implementation for guided weapons (preferred).
  • Knowledge of reliability prediction techniques and failure mode analysis (preferred).
  • Experience with test planning, execution, and data analysis for complex systems (preferred).
  • Mission modeling experience such as OCA/DCA, ISR, SEAD/DEAD, Electronic Attack, or Integrated Fire Control missions (preferred).
  • Experience with the Cameo Simulation Toolkit plugin for Cameo MagicDraw (preferred).
  • Proficiency with MathWorks products such as MATLAB and Simulink (preferred).
  • INCOSE Systems Engineering Professional (SEP) Certification (preferred).
