Description

  • Define the software roadmap for core Tactical Recon & Strike products, including Ghost, Anvil, Bolt, and Altius.
  • Own delivery of outcomes across multiple programs by executing on broad and ambiguous requirements from internal teams and external partners.
  • Coordinate and run frequent test events across software, hardware-in-the-loop simulations, flight tests, and demonstrations.
  • Partner with engineering leaders to improve program execution, team velocity, and cross-team coordination.
  • Align technical roadmaps, staffing plans, and program priorities across the organization.
  • Manage cross-team projects and cross-functional initiatives by unblocking work, resolving dependencies, and escalating issues when needed.
  • Support quarterly and ongoing staffing planning, especially when prioritization conflicts arise.
  • Collaborate with hardware, product, and test operations teams to scope and deliver capabilities.
  • Track, communicate, and report status on key programs and create efficient status communication processes.
  • Understand technical implementation at an architectural level and propose alternatives when necessary.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a Technical Program Manager, Technical Product Manager, Engineering Manager, or Engineer in autonomous systems, robotics, or software development.
  • Familiarity with robotics or computer vision systems and their architecture preferred.
  • Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand technical designs, software development lifecycle, challenges, and risks.
  • Experience working in a rapidly iterating test environment with high integration to software development teams.
  • Strong project management experience with practical familiarity in both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.
  • Experience building programs for software and testing deliverables from the ground up preferred.
  • Ability to work in minimally structured environments with minimal direction preferred.
  • Experience rolling out disruptive organizational process changes preferred.
  • Experience creating communication plans for multiple stakeholder levels preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills preferred.
  • Strong technical, analytical, and quantitative skills with the ability to use data and metrics to support decisions preferred.
  • Experience with tools such as JIRA and Confluence preferred.
  • Professional certifications such as CISSP, OSCP, GIAC-PEN, Prosci, SAFe, or PMP preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or an Engineering discipline preferred.
