Description

  • Own program-level cost forecasting and EAC/ETC development for hardware programs transitioning from development to production.
  • Build and maintain bottoms-up cost models covering material, labor, overhead, and subcontract elements across the hardware build cycle.
  • Track actuals against baselines, identify variances, and perform root-cause analysis with program and supply chain teams.
  • Deliver monthly program financial reporting and present performance narratives to program management and business line leadership.
  • Partner with Supply Chain and Accounting to reconcile procurement activity, inventory movements, and cost postings.
  • Support the development and improvement of forecasting workflows in FP&A and ERP tools such as Oracle, Anaplan, and Foundry.
  • Assist in pricing activities and proposal cost volume development.
  • Contribute to long-range planning and production rate ramp financial modeling.
  • Drive continuous improvement in reporting accuracy, data integrity, and process efficiency.

Requirements

  • 3–7 years of experience in FP&A, program finance, or cost analysis, preferably in a hardware manufacturing or integration environment.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Experience building or managing cost models for physical products, such as BOM-based costing or production cost build-ups.
  • Strong understanding of how material, labor, and indirect costs flow through a manufacturing or defense program lifecycle.
  • Ability to operate independently in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and carry projects forward with minimal direction.
  • Excellent communication skills and comfort presenting financial narratives and variance explanations to non-finance stakeholders.
  • Proficiency with financial systems and data tools; experience with ERP platforms, especially Oracle, is a plus.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.
  • DoD industry experience or familiarity with government contract cost accounting (FAR/CAS) is preferred.
  • Security clearance or ability to obtain one is preferred.
  • Experience navigating ERP transitions or standing up new forecasting tools is preferred.
  • Exposure to supply chain or procurement finance is preferred.
