Description

  • Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of enterprise endpoint management solutions across Windows, macOS, Linux, and mobile platforms.
  • Architect and maintain virtual desktop infrastructure using tools such as AWS WorkSpaces, Dell Wyse ThinOS, Azure Virtual Desktop, and Citrix.
  • Define endpoint strategy, standards, security baselines, and compliance frameworks aligned with business and operational goals.
  • Design and implement automation frameworks for endpoint provisioning, configuration, patching, software distribution, and lifecycle management.
  • Develop automation scripts and tools using PowerShell, Python, Bash, and Go.
  • Build infrastructure-as-code solutions using tools such as Ansible, Terraform, Salt, Puppet, or Chef.
  • Create CI/CD pipelines for endpoint configuration deployment and testing, including self-service automation for common tasks.
  • Architect, deploy, and maintain virtual desktop environments for enterprise, manufacturing, and secure use cases.
  • Provide expert support for complex endpoint and VDI incidents, including major incident response and root cause analysis.
  • Develop documentation, runbooks, architecture diagrams, and standards while monitoring performance, reliability, and capacity.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of professional experience as an Endpoint Engineer, Client Platform Engineer, Systems Engineer, VDI Engineer, or similar role with increasing responsibility.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Deep expertise with endpoint management platforms such as Intune, SCCM, FleetDM, Workspace ONE, Jamf Pro, or IGEL.
  • Proven experience architecting and managing virtual desktop infrastructure such as AWS WorkSpaces, Azure Virtual Desktop, Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, or VMware Horizon.
  • Strong automation and scripting skills with proficiency in PowerShell, Python, and Bash.
  • Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code and configuration management tools such as Ansible, Terraform, Salt, Puppet, or Chef.
  • Expert knowledge of Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems at enterprise scale.
  • Strong understanding of endpoint security hardening, compliance frameworks, and vulnerability management.
  • Experience with Active Directory, Entra ID (Azure AD), Okta, and hybrid identity architectures.
  • Expertise in networking concepts including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, load balancing, and traffic optimization for virtual desktops.
  • Experience with deployment technologies and imaging solutions such as PXE, KACE, MAAS, FOG, Tinkerbell, or iPXE.
  • Proven ability to design and implement solutions that scale across thousands of endpoints.
  • Strong architectural thinking and excellent communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. TS clearance.
  • Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes for application delivery.
  • Experience in manufacturing, industrial, or OT environments is preferred.
  • Deep knowledge of application virtualization and packaging such as App-V, MSIX, or ThinApp is preferred.
  • Experience implementing zero trust architecture principles for endpoints is preferred.
  • Experience with Git, GitHub/GitLab, and version control workflows for automation code is preferred.
  • Understanding of API development and integration for endpoint management automation is preferred.
  • Experience with multi-cloud or hybrid cloud endpoint strategies is preferred.
