Description

  • Support current and new systems at various lifecycle stages, including future applications and systems not yet identified.
  • Provide services to defend against unauthorized activity on Army assets across NIPRNet, SIPRNet, and CENTRIXS-K.
  • Manage content on web portals and web applications and ensure posted information reflects the current cyberspace operations climate.
  • Use web portals to provide cyber situational awareness, including network trends, threats, and incident status updates.
  • Apply engineering and analytical disciplines to identify, document, verify, and control system characteristics, changes, nonconformance, and configurations.
  • Support Disaster Recovery (DR) and Continuity of Operations (COOP) capability.
  • Support Cybersecurity Service Provider (CSSP) accreditation activities.
  • Conduct monthly training based on incident analysis, security testing, lessons learned, and independent research.
  • Coordinate with ARCYBER personnel through working groups to develop, research, publish, test, and annually update deliverables, SOPs, tools, and TTTP related to cyber defense and threat analysis.
  • Recommend software tool or hardware upgrades to strengthen internal defensive measures and close gaps in enterprise solutions.
  • Participate in exercises and help plan and support cyberspace defense engagements such as Gaining Cyber Dominance.
  • Support cyberspace operations and mission planning, mission analysis, technical analysis, meetings, conferences, and working groups.
  • Analyze anomalous events in SIEM systems, Big Data Analytics, and supporting devices or applications.
  • Perform change management activities in accordance with the Change Management Policy, Plan, and SOP.

Requirements

  • U.S. citizenship is required.
  • 5 years of experience in one or more of the following areas: Information Assurance (IA), Cybersecurity, or Cyber Operations.
  • Bachelor’s degree is required, or 4 additional years of experience, or one of the following certifications may be substituted for the degree: GFACT, CEH, Cloud+, CySA+, PenTest+, SSCP, Security+, or GSEC.
  • An active TS/SCI clearance is required.
  • Work authorization must not now or in the future require visa sponsorship in the United States.
  • Experience supporting federal or Army cyberspace operations environments is implied by the role context.
  • Experience with configuration management, system lifecycle support, or change management is relevant to the role.
  • Familiarity with SIEM systems, Big Data Analytics, and cyber threat analysis tools is relevant to the role.
