Description

  • Set up, execute, and analyze test experiments according to test procedures and record findings in test records.
  • Support the build of test harnesses, racks, and environmental setups, including soldering and cable assembly.
  • Update existing test systems to improve automation, consistency, and coverage.
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical, electronic, and integrated circuits down to the component level.
  • Maintain and calibrate electrical and/or mechanical test equipment.
  • Create assembly instructions and bills of materials for test equipment and fixtures.
  • Document test plans, user instructions, and manuals.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Travel to test sites and external laboratories as required.
  • Work closely with an interdisciplinary technical team to support radar system integration, testing, debugging, and hardware fixes.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience working across hardware, software, and networking interfaces.
  • 3+ years of experience using, testing, or integrating radio frequency (RF) systems.
  • Proficiency in soldering, including through-hole and surface-mount work, and cable building/assembly.
  • Familiarity with reading electrical system and component schematics.
  • Familiarity with electronics test equipment such as power supplies, electronic loads, oscilloscopes, function generators, data acquisition tools, and measurement sensors.
  • Strong root cause analysis skills.
  • Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Ability to pivot quickly between tasks and prioritize simultaneous work in a fast-paced environment.
  • U.S. Person status required due to access to export-controlled data.
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 25 lbs unassisted.
  • Must be eligible to obtain and hold a U.S. Secret Security Clearance.
  • 5+ years of experience working across hardware, software, and networking interfaces (preferred).
  • Associate degree in Electrical/Electronics, Computer, Mechanical Technologies, or a related field (preferred).
  • J-STD-001 certified (preferred).
  • Familiarity with IPC quality standards, including IPC-610, IPC-620, IPC-7721, and J-STD, and other assembly and inspection standards (preferred).
  • Familiarity with RF test equipment such as spectrum analyzers, signal generators, and power meters (preferred).
  • Experience with equipment calibration and metrology (preferred).
  • Experience managing a lab environment (preferred).
