Description

  • Design high-speed digital, precision analog, RF, and high-power electrical architectures.
  • Develop embedded electronics from concept to functional prototype, including hardware selection, schematic design, PCB design, board bring-up, and system integration.
  • Troubleshoot issues across electrical and software boundaries using lab equipment and basic software debugging tools.
  • Work with modern SoCs and networking hardware to build Anduril platforms.
  • Collaborate with firmware and software engineers on processor and peripheral selection, board bring-up, and troubleshooting.
  • Partner with electrical, mechanical, software, firmware, and test engineers to deliver fully functional products.
  • Support the maturation of prototypes into manufacturable products.
  • Operate in a fast-paced environment managing multiple concurrent projects and customers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • 8+ years of experience designing, testing, and troubleshooting complex hardware, embedded systems, and products.
  • Demonstrated experience with multi-gigabit SERDES, DDR memory busses, Ethernet MAC and PHY interfaces, FPGAs, and communication busses such as SPI and I2C.
  • Experience with microprocessor and microcontroller selection, configuration, and interfacing.
  • Experience with component selection, schematic capture, high-speed board design, and guiding PCB layout.
  • Competence with oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, debuggers, current probes, spectrum/network analyzers, and test automation.
  • Familiarity with product development processes and tools.
  • Knowledge of embedded software development, including timers, interrupts, and hardware peripherals such as SPI controllers and ADCs.
  • Experience with signal integrity and power integrity rules and simulation.
  • Strong written and oral communication and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with Altium Designer or equivalent electronic design tools.
  • Familiarity with Python or similar programming languages for test automation.
  • Must be eligible to obtain and hold a U.S. Secret Security Clearance.
  • Preferred: familiarity with RF design and layout.
  • Preferred: experience with PCB placement and routing.
  • Preferred: experience with JESD204 and PCIe.
  • Preferred: familiarity with military standards such as MIL-STD-461, MIL-STD-704, and MIL-STD-1275.
  • Preferred: experience with high-speed ADCs/DACs and software-defined radios.
