Description

  • Lead DFT architecture, implementation, and sign-off for ASIC/SoC designs.
  • Drive scan insertion, scan chain creation, and compression flows.
  • Own MBIST and LBIST integration, debug, and related validation activities.
  • Perform silicon debug, failure analysis, and root-cause investigation.
  • Develop DFT constraints and support timing analysis using SDC and related flows.
  • Support ATPG generation, simulation, coverage closure, and pattern retargeting/porting.
  • Work on JTAG, boundary scan, and iJTAG implementation and verification.
  • Collaborate with RTL, physical design, STA, and validation teams across the development flow.
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute technical guidance to the team.
  • Develop automation scripts using TCL, Perl, or Python to improve DFT workflows.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of hands-on ASIC DFT experience.
  • Strong understanding of DFT fundamentals and fault models.
  • Expertise in scan, ATPG, MBIST, JTAG, and debug.
  • Experience with timing simulation, SDF, and SDC.
  • Experience with Synopsys, Cadence, or Siemens DFT tools.
  • Hands-on experience with TetraMax and DFTMax.
  • Post-silicon validation experience.
  • Experience with large SoC and hierarchical DFT flows.
  • Experience with pattern retargeting and porting.
  • Preferred: experience with Tessent or SSN tools, yield analysis, manufacturing test optimization, and multi-node ASIC programs.
  • Must be available to work remotely and align with PST hours.
  • Work authorization limited to USC, GC, or EAD; no OPT/CPT.
