Description

  • Manage technician staff through production, acceptance testing, and product delivery.
  • Set daily priorities, issue work orders, and remove blockers to keep production on track.
  • Ensure operators follow safety procedures, standard work, and 5S practices.
  • Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels across work areas.
  • Track production transactions and updates in NetSuite and JIRA on a daily basis.
  • Provide weekly updates on production progress, risks, blockers, and support needs.
  • Lead daily cross-functional communication with engineering, supply chain, logistics, quality, and technicians.
  • Coach, mentor, and support up to 30 production associates on shift.
  • Support new operator training, process development, equipment maintenance, and on-line troubleshooting.
  • Drive quality control, root cause investigation, corrective actions, and daily pass-down and quality reporting.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience managing or supervising in a high-volume production environment.
  • Demonstrated experience working in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of production rate, critical path analysis, and manufacturing fundamentals.
  • Understanding of the full product life cycle from NPI to scaled production, LEAN manufacturing principles, and change management (ECOs).
  • Ability to interpret technical documentation such as mechanical drawings, work instructions, building plans, equipment specs, and electrical schematics.
  • Willingness to work hands-on with hardware and on the production floor as needed.
  • Proven troubleshooting skills for process and equipment issues in changing production environments.
  • Passion for employee development and training new hires and experienced production staff.
  • Experience supporting process development and equipment maintenance.
  • Knowledge of 5S, lean manufacturing, or Six Sigma principles.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be a U.S. Person due to access to U.S. export-controlled information or facilities.
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as engineering, business, or applied science (preferred).
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification (preferred).
  • Working knowledge of AS9100 standards and OSHA laws (preferred).
  • Experience with electrical and mechanical assembly and integration (preferred).
  • Forklift and 3A Hoisting certification (preferred).
  • Experience scaling low-volume manufacturing to high-rate production (preferred).
  • Extensive hiring and organizational design experience (preferred).
