Description

  • Develop and implement supply chain strategies that support business goals, supply continuity, quality, efficiency, and cost optimization.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.
  • Negotiate complex commercial terms with suppliers, including pricing, quality, flexibility, delivery, payment, warranty, and service terms.
  • Collaborate with supply chain experts across the company to develop and execute best practices.
  • Partner with engineering, program management, finance, and other cross-functional leaders to resolve issues and align tradeoffs.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and improve supply chain performance.
  • Define key performance indicators and monitor supply chain health through data analysis and reporting.
  • Lead, manage, train, and support a team of supply chain professionals.
  • Hire talent to support the expansion of the team.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate supply chain risks and disruptions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, engineering, or a related technical field.
  • 8+ years of experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment in a supply chain or production-related role focused on complex mechanical and/or electrical assembly.
  • 4+ years of leadership experience.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to travel up to 20%.
  • Eligibility to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.
  • MBA or Master’s degree in supply chain, engineering, or a related technical field (preferred).
  • Previous experience in defense, aerospace, automotive, high tech, or a related industry (preferred).
  • Proven leadership in driving and influencing large teams toward common goals (preferred).
  • Ability to adapt to different roles, including individual contributor tasks while managing a small team (preferred).
