Description

  • Draft, review, and negotiate high volumes of procurement and supplier agreements, including POs, SOWs, MSAs, NDAs, and vendor contracts.
  • Provide legal support to the supply chain, quality, and operations teams on day-to-day contracting and compliance matters.
  • Educate business partners through training, playbooks, templates, and self-service tools to improve contracting and compliance capability.
  • Develop, refine, and implement legal frameworks, SOPs, and process improvements to streamline legal review workflows.
  • Ensure compliance with supply chain laws and regulations, including FAR and DFARS flowdowns, certifications, and government contracting requirements.
  • Oversee and validate supply chain and quality-related compliance processes and provide proactive guidance.
  • Partner with trade compliance teams on customs, export controls, sanctions, and other trade law issues affecting the supply chain.
  • Maintain cross-functional alignment on cybersecurity, physical security, and sourcing restriction requirements.
  • Support internal investigations and resolve supply chain-related disputes or litigation matters.
  • Develop and improve representations and certifications for government and non-government entities.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from a top-tier accredited law school.
  • 5+ years of highly relevant legal experience with a transactional focus on supply chain, procurement, commercial contracts, or trade law.
  • 2+ years of direct experience with FAR/DFARS supply chain compliance, certifications, and flowdown requirements, or equivalent experience with UK, AUS, or EU defense procurement regulations.
  • Active bar membership in good standing in at least one U.S. state and ability to become authorized to practice in California.
  • Experience managing a very high volume of transactional legal work with speed, precision, and a pragmatic business-oriented approach.
  • Ability to thrive in a high-volume, rapidly evolving environment and drive multiple projects to completion with urgency.
  • Strong initiative, problem-solving ability, and proactive ownership mindset.
  • Proficiency with legal research platforms, contract lifecycle management systems, collaboration tools, and project management software, including Slack and MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Superior negotiation, drafting, verbal communication, and attention-to-detail skills.
  • Ability to provide clear, pragmatic, business-focused risk analyses and recommendations.
  • Willingness to work from Anduril’s Costa Mesa, California or Washington, D.C. office.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.
  • Preferred: Deep experience with U.S. government contracting, including FAR/DFARS and Other Transaction Agreements (OTAs).
  • Preferred: Experience with Aerospace & Defense, Robotics, Technology, or other manufacturing-heavy companies.
  • Preferred: Experience at a startup or building processes and SOPs from scratch in a rapidly scaling environment.
  • Preferred: 7-10 years partnering directly with Supply Chain and Operations teams.
  • Preferred: In-house experience.
  • Preferred: Active security clearance or ability to obtain one.
