Description

  • Manage all phases of litigation from case inception through trial, including case strategy, discovery, and settlement negotiations.
  • Meet with clients to understand legal issues, provide legal advice, and develop effective strategies.
  • Represent clients in court hearings, trials, and arbitration proceedings.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategy and legal arguments.
  • Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and other persuasive legal documents.
  • Collaborate with paralegals and support staff to prepare trial materials, including witness lists, exhibit binders, and jury instructions.
  • Evaluate cases, identify key issues, and recommend the best course of action.
  • Maintain regular communication with clients and provide updates on case status and developments.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
  • Licensed to practice law in Texas with a strong understanding of state and federal litigation procedures.
  • Minimum of 5 years of litigation experience, with a strong emphasis on personal injury or employment law cases.
  • Outstanding communication, negotiation, and courtroom skills.
  • Strong legal writing ability.
  • Proven trial experience in high-stakes situations.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a team and independently while managing multiple cases effectively.
