Description

  • Build core command-and-control software for the Lattice platform.
  • Develop software that runs on vehicles to manage real-time telemetry, health, and autopilot tasks.
  • Develop Ground Control Station software for mission planning, map visualization, fleet management, and orchestration of autonomous behaviors.
  • Bridge the gap between hardware and human operators across airborne and multi-domain robotic systems.
  • Work on the integration of GenAI agents and natural language interfaces for operator control of autonomous assets.
  • Collaborate closely with Perception, Motion Planning, Hardware, and Test Engineering teams.
  • Build, ship, and iterate on software that runs on physical hardware deployed in the world.
  • Contribute to solving ambiguous problems with rapid delivery and iteration.

Requirements

  • Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Top Secret security clearance.
  • Strong engineering background from industry or school, ideally in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, or Physics.
  • 3+ years of full-stack experience in backend Python, C++, Rust, Go, Java, or JavaScript, and/or frontend React and TypeScript.
  • Experience building software solutions involving significant amounts of data processing and analysis.
  • Understanding of how real-time backend data flows into an operator UI.
  • Ability to quickly understand and navigate complex systems with a bias toward rapid delivery and iteration.
  • Desire to collaborate with team members to deliver novel software capabilities to ambiguous problems.
  • Experience with distributed systems, cloud computing, or SaaS preferred.
  • Experience with multi-agent autonomous systems or defense tech preferred.
  • Knowledge of military systems and operational tactics preferred.
  • Strong background in Physics, Mathematics, and/or Motion Planning to inform modeling and simulation and physical systems preferred.
