Description

  • Develop customizations and optimize workflows for engineering tools and systems.
  • Partner with developers and cross-functional teams across the company.
  • Create practical training content and help users become more productive with engineering tools.
  • Recommend solutions based on hands-on experimentation and real-world testing.
  • Iterate quickly on processes and recommendations based on user feedback.
  • Optimize data flow across downstream engineering systems.
  • Identify overlapping capabilities and improve global organizational efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues related to deployment, configuration, and ongoing support.
  • Work with engineering teams to finish business-critical projects.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in a design engineering role building products, ideally in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Systems Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent education/work experience.
  • Deep expertise in at least one engineering discipline and its associated tool stack (CAD, CAE, PLM, or discipline-specific applications).
  • Strong understanding of engineering workflows from concept through production.
  • Hands-on experience using engineering design tools and ability to quickly learn new platforms.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot technical issues and find practical solutions.
  • U.S. Person status required for export control.
  • Experience with a wide array of engineering design tools across multiple disciplines (preferred).
  • Training, instructional design, or technical education experience (preferred).
  • Basic knowledge of scripting, automation, or tool customization (preferred).
  • Understanding of data flow between engineering systems such as CAD, PLM, ERP, and MES (preferred).
  • Experience in startup, defense, aerospace, or high-growth manufacturing environments (preferred).
  • Familiarity with PLM systems such as Teamcenter or Windchill and their integration with design tools (preferred).
  • Background supporting cross-functional engineering teams in complex product development (preferred).
  • Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or Agile process improvement methods (preferred).
