Description

  • Provide support for endpoint incidents across Windows, macOS, Linux, and mobile devices.
  • Manage daily endpoint operations including software distribution, patch deployment, and device provisioning.
  • Monitor endpoint health, performance, and compliance using management platforms.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex endpoint issues, escalating when needed.
  • Respond to urgent incidents affecting employee productivity or manufacturing operations.
  • Collaborate with Help Desk, IT Operations, Manufacturing, and other cross-functional teams.
  • Design and implement endpoint management solutions using tools such as Intune, Workspace ONE, Jamf Pro, and IGEL.
  • Maintain virtual desktop infrastructure solutions using AWS WorkSpaces, Dell Wyse ThinOS, Azure Virtual Desktop, Citrix, or similar technologies.
  • Build standardized device configurations, deployment workflows, and automation scripts.
  • Develop baselines for endpoint security, compliance, and performance standards.
  • Lead projects to improve patch management, OS deployment, and software distribution processes.
  • Test and validate new endpoint tools, configurations, and automation before production rollout.
  • Document configurations, processes, runbooks, and troubleshooting guides.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of professional experience in endpoint engineering, client platform engineering, systems administration, desktop support, or a similar role.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems.
  • Experience with endpoint management platforms such as Intune, SCCM, FleetDM, Jamf Pro, or Workspace ONE.
  • Hands-on experience with Active Directory, Entra ID, or Okta identity management.
  • Proficiency with scripting and automation using PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
  • Solid understanding of endpoint security, patching, compliance requirements, and device hardening.
  • Strong networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across IT, OT, and business teams.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Eligibility to obtain and maintain a U.S. TS clearance.
  • Experience with mobile device management and mobile application management is preferred.
  • Experience with cloud identity platforms and hybrid identity scenarios is preferred.
  • Experience with deployment technologies such as PXE boot, KACE, MAAS, FOG, Tinkerbell, iPXE, or imaging solutions is preferred.
  • Experience with configuration management tools and Infrastructure as Code practices is preferred.
  • Experience configuring kiosk mode, device lockdown, or dedicated-use endpoints is preferred.
  • Familiarity with ITIL practices and ticketing systems such as ServiceNow or Jira Service Management is preferred.
  • Experience with virtual desktop technologies such as AWS WorkSpaces, Dell Wyse ThinOS, Azure Virtual Desktop, or Citrix is preferred.
  • Understanding of IT and OT systems integration challenges is preferred.
  • Certifications such as Microsoft 365 Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate, Jamf Certified (200+), CompTIA Security+, Apple Certified Support Professional (ACSP), Linux+, or RHCSA are preferred.
