Description

  • Conduct in-depth interviews and portfolio reviews of candidates across industrial design, interaction, brand, motion, environmental, concept, and video disciplines.
  • Source and engage passive design candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, referrals, SOBO campaigns, design communities, platforms, and industry events.
  • Partner with Design Leadership to define role requirements, calibrate candidate profiles, and shape compelling value propositions for design talent.
  • Build and manage a diverse design talent pipeline while ensuring a strong candidate experience from outreach through offer acceptance.
  • Represent Anduril’s brand and recruiting function internally and externally to communicate its design culture and impact.
  • Use internal resources and market insights to refine recruiting strategy and improve hiring outcomes.
  • Manage candidate funnels and track progress through the recruiting process in an ATS.
  • Provide transparent reporting on pipeline progress and recruiting activity to stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of direct, full-cycle recruiting experience focused on creative roles such as industrial design, interaction design, brand, motion, environmental, concept, and video.
  • Experience conducting thorough portfolio reviews and evaluating design capabilities against technical, creative, and cultural requirements.
  • Strong understanding of the design landscape, including trends, tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, and CAD software, methodologies, and talent pools.
  • Experience managing strategic stakeholder relationships with Design Leaders and Hiring Managers.
  • Consultative experience providing guidance on market conditions, talent availability, and candidate expectations to improve outcomes.
  • Clear and effective communication skills for engaging design candidates and assessing motivation, drivers, and cultural fit.
  • Experience managing candidate pipelines and tracking progress in an ATS.
  • Ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively in a dynamic, high-growth environment.
  • In-house brand team, design agency, or advertising agency experience is preferred.
  • Experience recruiting senior- to leadership-level design roles in a complex product or hardware-software environment is preferred.
  • A strong network in the design community and familiarity with portfolio platforms such as Behance, Dribbble, Medium, and personal websites is preferred.
  • Multiple years of experience at an agency or fast-paced startup, especially with a strong product or engineering culture, is preferred.
