Description

  • Lead the evolution of Seeq’s frontend system to improve component quality, consistency, usability, and developer experience.
  • Work closely with UX, Product, and Engineering teams to understand needs, set priorities, and build reusable frontend foundations.
  • Shape foundational components, higher-order blocks, page-level templates, and reusable application patterns for real user workflows.
  • Design frontend systems that support analysis, monitoring, triage, configuration, collaboration, and decision-making in data-rich software.
  • Leverage open-source foundations such as shadcn/ui and adapt them to Seeq’s product standards and workflows.
  • Create component APIs, structure, naming, and documentation that are easy to understand, adopt, and use correctly.
  • Help ensure the component system supports an excellent developer experience in an AI-assisted world.
  • Translate user workflows into reusable structures and polished product surfaces across menus, tables, forms, dashboards, and settings pages.
  • Partner with designers to ensure visual consistency and implement production-ready frontend solutions.
  • Provide technical leadership by mentoring other engineers and driving improvements through to completion.

Requirements

  • Experience building or evolving component libraries, pattern libraries, or design systems for complex applications.
  • 10+ years of professional experience in software development with a strong record of designing and building sophisticated software systems.
  • Expert-level proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, React, TailwindCSS, and HTML primitives.
  • Strong understanding of software design principles, patterns, and best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies and tools such as Scrum or Kanban.
  • Proven technical leadership skills, including the ability to guide, mentor, and collaborate with engineers at all levels.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Familiarity with design tools such as Figma to translate designs into production-ready code.
  • Experience building responsive, scalable web experiences and implementing accessibility standards, including keyboard navigation, screen reader support, high-contrast, and reduced-motion preferences.
