Description

  • Conduct in-depth interviews and comprehensive portfolio reviews for design candidates across industrial, interaction, brand, motion, environmental, concept, and video specialties.
  • Source and engage passive candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, referrals, SOBO campaigns, design communities, platforms, and industry events.
  • Partner with Design Leadership to define role requirements, calibrate profiles, and craft compelling value propositions for design talent.
  • Build and maintain a diverse design talent pipeline while ensuring a positive candidate experience from outreach through offer acceptance.
  • Represent Anduril’s brand and recruiting team internally and externally, communicating the company’s design culture and impact.
  • Use internal resources and market insights to shape recruiting strategy and improve outcomes for top-tier design hiring.
  • Manage candidate funnels and track progress throughout the recruiting process using an ATS.
  • Provide transparent pipeline updates and recruiting reporting to stakeholders.
  • Advise stakeholders on market conditions, talent availability, and candidate expectations in a consultative manner.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of direct, full-cycle recruiting experience focused on creative roles, including industrial design, interaction, brand, motion, environmental, concept, and video.
  • Experience conducting thorough portfolio reviews and assessing design capabilities against technical, creative, and cultural requirements.
  • Deep understanding of the design landscape, including current trends, tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, and CAD software, methodologies, and talent pools.
  • Experience managing strategic stakeholder relationships with Design Leaders and Hiring Managers.
  • Experience driving recruiting strategy based on business needs, profile calibration, and transparent pipeline reporting.
  • Experience providing consultative guidance on market conditions, talent availability, and candidate expectations.
  • Clear and effective communication skills with design candidates to assess motivation, drivers, and cultural fit.
  • Experience managing candidate pipelines and tracking progress in an ATS.
  • Ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively in a dynamic, high-growth environment.
  • Preferred: In-house brand team, design agency, or advertising agency experience.
  • Preferred: Experience recruiting senior to leadership-level design roles in a complex product or hardware-software environment.
  • Preferred: Strong network within the design community and familiarity with portfolio platforms such as Behance, Dribbble, Medium, and personal websites.
  • Preferred: Multiple years of experience in an agency or fast-paced startup environment with a strong product or engineering culture.
