Description

  • Manage trade capture, confirmation, margining, and settlement for OTC and exchange-traded digital asset derivatives.
  • Initiate and monitor collateral and margin workflows, including initial and variation margin, lifecycle events, reconciliations, and fund movements.
  • Reconcile positions, valuations, and P&L across internal ledgers and external platforms, resolving breaks end to end.
  • Collaborate with trading, risk, legal, compliance, finance, and external counterparties to maintain institutional controls and procedures.
  • Use Python, SQL, and Excel to automate and streamline trade, cash, collateral, and operational workflows.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on digital derivatives operations across products, counterparties, jurisdictions, and time zones.
  • Identify operational risks and improve processes through tooling, controls, automation, and documented best practices.
  • Prioritize competing tasks, monitor clients and counterparties, and resolve complex settlement-related issues.
  • Create reports and presentations, lead process-improvement projects, and coach team members as needed.
  • Stay current on cryptocurrency trends, regulatory requirements, settlement practices, custodial services, tokens, and protocols.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience supporting settlement activities for institutional clients across traditional and crypto assets.
  • Deep understanding of traditional financial services, financial products, and trading strategies.
  • Experience with OTC derivatives, exchange-traded derivatives, ISDA documentation, and crypto-specific contract terms.
  • Knowledge of crypto-native institutions, digital asset infrastructure, tokens, protocols, staking, and governance.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, agility, attention to detail, and ability to identify and respond to emerging risks.
  • Experience managing operational complexity across multiple products, counterparties, time zones, and legal jurisdictions.
  • Strong working knowledge of Python and SQL preferred; proficiency with Excel and analytics tools.
  • Ability to communicate confidently with clients, counterparties, executives, traders, compliance teams, and other stakeholders.
  • Interest in building early-stage or 0-to-1 operational infrastructure preferred.
  • Willingness to complete mandatory in-person onboarding for identity verification and secure IT setup.
