Description

  • Own the finance transformation roadmap and translate financial needs into scalable, compliant, audit-ready solutions.
  • Lead end-to-end execution of finance transformation and strategic initiative workstreams.
  • Translate stakeholder needs into clear requirements, roadmaps, and measurable outcomes.
  • Partner with Engineering and Finance to improve processes, data pipelines, reporting, and controls.
  • Coordinate planning and execution of Finance work needed to support new strategic business initiatives.
  • Manage workstreams, track deliverables, and ensure timely completion of finance-related tasks.
  • Collaborate with senior team members to build execution plans across accounting, tax, treasury, and other finance functions.
  • Evaluate current-state processes with finance stakeholders and business leads to scope solutions aligned with strategic goals.
  • Produce high-quality documentation for executive management review.
  • Facilitate communication across project phases and proactively update management on scope, timeline, and resource changes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree is required.
  • CPA certification is preferred, or progress toward CPA is preferred.
  • Fintech industry experience is required, with a strong preference for crypto sector experience.
  • Strong background in crypto and technical product knowledge.
  • Proven experience supporting operational and accounting processes.
  • Big 4 experience is highly desirable.
  • Strong project management, organizational, oral communication, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to partner effectively with business and technology leaders to resolve business process or technology control gaps.
  • Ability to thrive in a hyper-growth environment and deliver results amid ambiguity at a fast pace.
  • Preferred experience working at a crypto exchange.
  • Hands-on experience with NetSuite, FloQast, and Workiva is a plus.
  • Experience working with backend transaction datasets and using SQL, Python, Looker, and/or Retool is a plus.
