Description

  • Lead and manage a team of Outside Sales Representatives across the West region.
  • Monitor sales performance for both existing and new customers.
  • Develop, maintain, and improve the regional sales organization through hiring, training, and coaching.
  • Set, implement, and review annual sales goals and ensure the team meets sales objectives.
  • Build a lead-generation mindset and guide team activities toward goal attainment.
  • Hold regular team meetings to share expectations, best practices, ideas, and performance feedback.
  • Participate in business meetings and negotiations with major customers and prospective customers for larger orders.
  • Provide on-the-job training and constructive feedback to new and existing sales representatives.
  • Maintain strong knowledge of the market and act as a resource for the sales team.
  • Manage regional expenses and approve expense reports, and step into vacant territories as a player-coach when needed.

Requirements

  • Track record of meeting and exceeding sales quotas.
  • Experience coaching sales representatives across the full sales cycle, from lead generation through negotiation.
  • Experience organizing, implementing, and maintaining sales goals.
  • Strong written and spoken English communication skills across all levels of an organization.
  • History of effective team building and management in high-volume, fast-paced environments.
  • 5 or more years of proven sales leadership experience as a top performer.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience (preferred).
  • Familiarity with Salesforce, Outreach, or other CRM systems.
  • Proficiency in Google Suite or similar systems.
  • Working knowledge of the education industry and medical terminology.
  • Strong time-management skills.
  • Proactive team-player mindset.
