Description

  • Ensure timely, accurate, and compliant payroll processing, including documentation, tax filings, and complex payroll transactions.
  • Maintain and update employee payroll records such as direct deposit, tax withholding, address changes, and garnishments.
  • Review and process timesheets, labor entries, and leave accruals in Costpoint.
  • Generate, manage, and distribute payroll reports and support audits, W-2 processing, and payroll reconciliations.
  • Respond to employee and stakeholder payroll inquiries with professionalism and timely follow-through.
  • Stay current on payroll laws and regulations and recommend process updates to maintain compliance.
  • Collaborate with Human Resources, Accounting, Corporate Business Systems, and program teams on payroll matters.
  • Provide general support to the payroll team and serve as backup for routine daily payroll tasks.
  • Build and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external partners to support payroll operations.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned, with responsibilities evolving based on business needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field with at least 4 years of relevant experience.
  • Minimum of 4 years of payroll experience supporting multi-state operations and complex tax requirements.
  • Strong knowledge of multi-state payroll laws, regulations, and compliance standards.
  • Experience with ADP and Dayforce preferred.
  • FPC or CPP certification preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365, including OneDrive, SharePoint, advanced Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat Pro, Copilot, and other AI tools.
  • Effective communication skills for engaging across all organizational levels and in virtual settings.
  • Strong organization, analysis, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, adapt to changing needs, and work independently and collaboratively.
  • Must be currently authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis; visa sponsorship, including H-1B, is not available.
  • Depending on project work, candidates may need to meet certain residency requirements.
