Description

  • Act as the subject matter expert for payroll operations in the assigned country.
  • Manage relationships with stakeholders across Payroll Implementation, Finance, Product, and Engineering.
  • Process end-to-end in-house payroll, including statutory filings, exceptions, approvals, payments, and compliance.
  • Ensure data integrity and quality across payroll processes.
  • Handle accounting and reconciliations related to payroll.
  • Track and improve performance against KPIs and SLAs.
  • Implement and continuously improve payroll processes.
  • Mentor and support payroll specialists on the team.
  • Back up regional managers during periods of absence.

Requirements

  • Payroll management experience or equivalent experience.
  • Knowledge of payroll best practices.
  • Proficiency with SAP and spreadsheet tools such as Excel or Google Sheets.
  • Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving ability.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, international, asynchronous work environment.
  • A proactive approach focused on improving productivity and efficiency.
  • Fluent written and spoken English.
  • Professional working proficiency in both English and Serbian/Croatian.
  • Experience working with Pantheon software.
  • Remote work experience is a plus, but not required.
