Description

Conduct financial analysis for government contracts, including budget preparation, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial modeling.
Collaborate cross-functionally to develop and implement financial plans aligned with organizational goals.
Provide financial insights and recommendations to support decision-making and long-term growth.
Monitor and manage contract costs to maintain budgetary compliance and contractual requirements.
Perform cost-benefit analyses to identify cost optimization and efficiency opportunities.
Ensure compliance with government regulations, accounting standards, and internal policies.
Support internal and external audits by preparing documentation, addressing findings, and implementing corrective actions.
Assist with contract negotiations by reviewing financial terms and identifying risks and mitigation strategies.
Work with project managers, contract administrators, and other stakeholders across the contract lifecycle.
Maintain financial accuracy and support key financial goals through ongoing collaboration with internal teams.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in financial analysis, ideally within government contracting.
Knowledge of government contracting principles, including FAR, DFARS, and cost accounting standards.
Experience with financial management systems such as Deltek, SAP, or Oracle is preferred.
Strong communication skills with the ability to present financial information clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work independently and collaboratively.
Strong analytical and strategic problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex financial data.
Proficiency in budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and financial analysis tools and techniques.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft 365, including OneDrive, SharePoint, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat Pro.
Hands-on experience with financial and analytical tools such as Costpoint 8+, Cognos, Tableau, and Power BI.
Must be currently authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis.
Employment-based visa sponsorship, including H-1B sponsorship, is not available.
Depending on project work, candidates may need to meet certain residency requirements.

Occasional travel for meetings and training sessions.
Anticipated annual salary range of $75,200 to $84,000 USD.
