Description

  • Translate business development strategies into actionable plans, deliverables, and targeted networking opportunities.
  • Develop and execute outreach strategies aligned with business development priorities, brand positioning, and messaging.
  • Manage logistics for sponsorships, in-person and virtual events, email promotions, and social media campaigns.
  • Support conference planning by preparing agendas and presentations, coordinating promotional materials, and assisting staff participation.
  • Identify outreach and event asset needs and coordinate their development and production.
  • Coordinate with program leadership to prioritize activities, ensure timely follow-through, and track and report outcomes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and at least 5 years of relevant experience, or a master’s degree and at least 4 years of relevant experience, in communications, journalism, public relations, or a related field.
  • Experience supporting external clients, managing small teams, and working in a shared services model.
  • Proficiency with Google Analytics or similar tools for website performance reporting and strategy development.
  • Experience creating digital-first, accessible creative products such as GIFs and videos.
  • Demonstrated experience developing and implementing dissemination plans.
  • Knowledge of business development strategy and proposal development.
  • Ability to develop integrated communications, outreach, social media, email, digital marketing, and content strategies.
  • Familiarity with LinkedIn, Facebook, and X analytics and outreach tools.
  • Strong writing, editing, presentation, time management, and multitasking skills.
  • Ability to use accessible communications technologies and content management systems such as Drupal, advise stakeholders and clients, and work full-time in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.

  • Anticipated annual salary of $96,650–$102,000 USD.
