Description

  • Coordinate and schedule engineering activities under the direction of the Project Manager.
  • Oversee engineering execution across disciplines to ensure alignment with project scope, specifications, and standards.
  • Organize and maintain project documentation, including existing facility design documents and engineering deliverables.
  • Plan and coordinate field surveys, ensuring accurate data collection, analysis, and documentation.
  • Lead technical meetings and facilitate communication among engineering, HSE, maintenance, procurement, construction, and commissioning teams.
  • Coordinate vendor document reviews and approvals, and manage subcontractor RFIs and material submittals.
  • Monitor project costs and schedules by reviewing engineering progress reports and tracking budgets and timelines.
  • Support development of technical equipment specifications and participate in bid evaluations for procurement.
  • Maintain and prioritize the engineering team action item list to drive timely issue resolution.
  • Promote safety culture through field engagement, safety reviews, and proactive risk management initiatives.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in project engineering with a strong understanding of project management processes and engineering standards.
  • Knowledge of project controls, cost management, and estimating practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and manage multiple stakeholders effectively.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to produce clear technical documentation and facilitate meetings.
  • Experience supporting vendor and subcontractor coordination and review processes.
  • Familiarity with design quality, engineering coordination, and industry-standard practices.
  • Safety-focused mindset with experience participating in or leading safety reviews and initiatives.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Chemical, or related field preferred).
  • Professional certifications in engineering or project management are a plus.
  • Ability to manage complex projects across multiple phases with a high level of organization and attention to detail.
  • Pre-employment drug screening is required as a condition of hire.
