Description

  • Review test service requests and analyze customer specifications with the project and quality teams.
  • Define the final validation plan, including required tools, benches, and budget.
  • Write detailed validation plans and test specifications covering customer and client requirements.
  • Schedule validation activities and coordinate test execution with laboratory resources.
  • Manage customer and project team communication on environmental validation methods and results across multiple test locations.
  • Support design corrections by working in parallel with the project team.
  • Manage the configuration, logistics, and tracking of tested parts.
  • Lead validation FMEA generation and participate in software, hardware, and product design reviews.
  • Oversee test setup, platform verification, test script development, and test execution using lab equipment.
  • Generate test reports, provide regular status updates, manage DUT failures, and support lessons learned and efficiency improvements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, such as Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics, Electronics, or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Minimum 3 years of test engineering experience.
  • Proficiency with National Instruments LabVIEW and/or TestStand.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java and Python.
  • Computer literacy with the MS Office suite.
  • Experience programming in LabVIEW and TestStand, with Certified LabVIEW preferred.
  • Experience developing instrumentation interfaces over PXI, PCI, USB, RS232, and GPIB.
  • Broad experience with hardware and peripherals.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex documents and schematics.
  • Knowledge of automotive electronics systems and validation methods, including accelerated life testing.
  • Experience with software applications and embedded C, C++, and Java.
  • Strong teamwork skills in a multinational environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to respond quickly to issues and think on your feet.
  • Methodical, professional, self-motivated, and transparent work style.
