Description

  • Lead the product development process for audio components and maintain part numbers.
  • Support packaging and integration of new audio components.
  • Translate customer-level requirements into functional, software, hardware, and testing technical requirements.
  • Support the integrity of codesign deliverables across hardware, software, and mechanical development.
  • Identify technical risks in design changes and define countermeasures to reduce quality, timing, and cost impacts.
  • Initiate and process component CCD/CN/IAA/PER/TSA activities, including approval imperatives.
  • Lead component shortage recovery activities for chip and material constraints.
  • Maintain and coordinate amplifier software delivery with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Support the APQP process and contribute to technology roadmaps for continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Work with cross-functional teams and escalate issues with root-cause analysis and recovery plans.

Requirements

  • Experience in product development or engineering coordination for audio components or related automotive systems.
  • Ability to translate customer requirements into technical requirements across functional, software, hardware, and testing domains.
  • Experience supporting codesign deliverables such as DFMEA, drawings, and virtual validation or simulation reports.
  • Ability to assess technical risks and define robust test plans, benchmarks, and countermeasures.
  • Experience coordinating suppliers and internal stakeholders on software or component delivery.
  • Familiarity with APQP and basic knowledge of ASPICE.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams across design, suppliers, integrators, interiors, ergonomics, testing, customer experience, supplier quality, purchasing, and plants.
  • Ability to manage change requests and component approval processes such as CCD/CN/IAA/PER/TSA.
  • Experience handling shortage recovery plans for chips or materials is preferred.
  • Experience in automotive, audio, or other complex product development environments is preferred.
