Description

  • Design electronics from concept to functional prototype, including hardware selection, PCB design, and system-level integration.
  • Troubleshoot issues across electrical and software boundaries using lab equipment and software debugging tools.
  • Develop low-level firmware and software for microcontrollers, embedded Linux systems, and supporting development and testing tools.
  • Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, software, firmware, and test engineers to deliver fully functional products.
  • Support new developments, active deployments, and customer-operated hardware in a fast-paced environment.
  • Manage involvement in multiple projects concurrently across different stages of development.

Requirements

  • Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • Able to start full time in 2027.
  • Familiarity with test equipment such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, debuggers, current probes, and test automation.
  • Familiarity with software development processes and tools such as git, GitHub, and JIRA.
  • Familiarity with standard interfaces such as Ethernet, CAN, I2C, SPI, PCIe, and USB.
  • Familiarity with embedded Linux development, including device trees, hardware drivers, bootloaders, and basic Unix/Linux tools.
  • Exceptional organization and communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Experience with Altium Designer or equivalent electronic design automation tools.
  • Proficiency with C/C++ and common languages such as Python, Rust, or Haskell.
  • Must be a U.S. Person and may need U.S. clearance eligibility depending on the program.
