Description

  • Prepare agendas, notices, minutes, and follow-up actions for board meetings, committees, and annual general meetings.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of commercial contracts, with a heavy focus on sales and procurement.
  • Provide day-to-day legal support and practical advice to cross-functional stakeholders across the business.
  • Advise on employment and labor law matters, including labor code compliance, employee relations, and policy implementation.
  • Monitor legal, regulatory, and industry developments affecting commercial agreements, governance, employment, and compliance matters.
  • Assist in developing local policies, procedures, playbooks, and scalable legal processes.
  • Support, mentor, and help develop junior legal team members.
  • Provide legal and strategic guidance to ensure agreements align with internal policies and company processes.
  • Work across functions and time zones in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Support the legal team on additional matters as needed.

Requirements

  • Fully qualified lawyer admitted to practice law in India.
  • Minimum 6+ years of experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial customer and vendor agreements.
  • Experience advising on corporate governance matters for Indian entities.
  • Experience in-house or at a nationally recognized law firm, or a combination of both.
  • Ability to review and negotiate agreements such as MSAs, Services Agreements, SOWs, SLAs, Order Forms, and NDAs.
  • Strong knowledge of Indian employment and labor laws, including labor code compliance and workforce-related matters.
  • Experience providing legal support to stakeholders in Sales, Procurement, Finance, HR, and leadership teams.
  • Ability to deliver practical, risk-based advice on corporate, regulatory, compliance, and operational matters.
  • Experience managing, developing, and coaching team members.
  • Experience advising international teams and handling cross-border legal and commercial matters.
  • Experience with training, contract management systems, and data privacy is a plus.
