Description

  • Support the preparation, review, and filing of SEC reports and other corporate regulatory filings, including quarterly reports, proxy statements, Section 16 filings, and beneficial ownership reports.
  • Review public-facing corporate communications, including earnings materials and investor presentations.
  • Assist with corporate governance matters, including preparing Board and Committee materials and maintaining public-company policies.
  • Provide support on equity matters, including 10b5-1 plans and the company trading policy.
  • Build and maintain legal workflows using AI and other tools, including playbooks, templates, metrics, self-serve tools, and automations.
  • Partner with stakeholders across accounting, equity, finance, people, and communications to provide practical legal advice.
  • Provide legal support for transactional and general corporate matters, including financings, strategic transactions, and corporate initiatives.
  • Help develop corporate and securities legal strategy so it scales with company growth.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of legal experience at a top-tier law firm and in-house legal department.
  • J.D. degree.
  • Current member in good standing of at least one U.S. state bar.
  • Deep knowledge of corporate and securities laws and SEC reporting requirements.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and business judgment.
  • Ability to distill complex issues and communicate them clearly to stakeholders.
  • Ability to prioritize across multiple projects and adapt to shifting priorities, legal developments, and risk tolerance.
  • Strong self-awareness about knowledge gaps and a curiosity and desire to learn.
  • Availability to work from one of Figma’s US hubs or remotely in the United States.

  • Annual base salary range of $153,000 to $296,000 USD.
