Description

  • Define and drive the long-term testing strategy and quality culture for the AI Platform.
  • Establish quality standards, quality metrics, and coverage expectations across engineering workflows.
  • Grow test coverage through scalable automation and maintain complex test datasets.
  • Partner with developers to ensure automation readiness for new features and releases.
  • Guide test planning across unit, integration, and end-to-end layers.
  • Perform exploratory testing to identify risk, inform automation, and validate model outputs.
  • Improve and streamline testing processes for AI-centric products and workflows.
  • Coach and mentor engineers on quality-by-design, shift-left practices, and sustainable quality standards.
  • Serve as a strategic partner to engineering and product stakeholders to support release gates and delivery standards.

Requirements

  • Fluency with AI tools and experience using them to accelerate software delivery and processes.
  • Deep knowledge of at least one programming language: Kotlin, Python, JavaScript, or Java.
  • Proficiency in testing methodologies and strong understanding of QA domain theory.
  • Experience with test management systems such as Allure TestOps.
  • Strong test design skills and experience in API testing.
  • Experience with UI test automation frameworks such as Playwright.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure and containerization technologies such as Kubernetes.
  • Strong understanding of continuous delivery.
  • Ability to operate autonomously and set direction without a dedicated QE team or manager.
  • Experience coaching engineering teams on quality-by-design and shift-left practices, influencing without direct authority.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across multiple portfolios.
  • Preferred: experience setting up and configuring CI/CD tools and pipelines.
  • Preferred: good understanding of GraphQL.
  • Preferred: proven expertise in performance engineering using k6 or similar and observability using OpenTelemetry/Grafana.
  • Preferred: financial data domain knowledge.
  • Preferred: experience testing backend and data pipelines.
  • Preferred: BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline.
