Description

  • Identify new content and AI-driven opportunities by analyzing user use cases, market research, and competitive trends.
  • Develop sourcing, licensing, and self-sourcing strategies for new content sets and platform capabilities.
  • Use rapid prototyping to demonstrate the value, impact, cost, and complexity of proposed initiatives.
  • Own strategic content initiatives from concept through launch, including implementation planning and execution.
  • Conduct sourcing analyses and buy-versus-build assessments for new content opportunities.
  • Build business cases, funding requests, and implementation plans for approved initiatives.
  • Partner with engineering and operations to optimize technology, automation, and staffing tradeoffs.
  • Manage cross-domain dependencies, roadmap priorities, and product or content launch support.
  • Design and implement operating KPI frameworks and analyze usage data to measure impact.
  • Advise product and content teams on content creation, curation, metadata strategy, data provenance, and AI workflow orchestration.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience at a leading financial institution or investment research platform as a Product or Content Manager.
  • 5+ years managing a large, globally distributed content generation operation.
  • Expert knowledge of market data and investment research databases, products, and tools such as Fundamentals, Estimates, M&A Transactions data, Ownership data, Market data, Excel plug-ins, and XML feeds.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead a cross-functional development team including engineers, data experts, QA, and a scrum master.
  • Strong understanding of relational and JSON databases; hands-on experience is strongly preferred.
  • BSc or MSc in engineering, finance, economics, or a related field.
  • Deep knowledge of corporate finance, capital markets, and investment research, with AI expertise from a buy-side or sell-side firm or from deploying products for investment professionals.
  • Proven experience leveraging NLP, machine learning, and generative AI.
  • Experience building, launching, and managing a marquee product or running a large content generation operation for the investment community.
  • Preferred: front-office background such as research analyst or investment banker.
  • Preferred: experience at a market intelligence or financial research SaaS startup.
  • Preferred: Agile or iterative development methodology experience.
  • Preferred: experience working with distributed teams.
  • Preferred: CFA certification.

Benefits

  • Base salary range of $156,000 to $200,000 USD.
  • Performance-based bonus eligibility.
