Description

  • Research, evaluate, and prototype cutting-edge AI solutions using large language models, computer vision, and related techniques.
  • Design and build scalable, cost-effective AI services and data processing pipelines for high-volume document processing.
  • Develop systems that handle latency, variance, fault tolerance, and reliability in production AI workflows.
  • Create prompt engineering strategies and defensive production systems for consistent AI performance.
  • Lead the technical direction for document ingestion, classification, entity extraction, image search, and related content capabilities.
  • Act as a technical mentor and thought leader for the engineering team.
  • Drive mission-critical initiatives from architecture through production deployment.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of professional software engineering experience building complex, data-intensive backend systems.
  • 5+ years of experience building and scaling production-grade services with FastAPI, Django, Spring Boot, or similar frameworks.
  • Strong experience designing large-scale distributed systems with asynchronous patterns, streaming, queuing, and caching strategies.
  • Experience with robust observability practices, including logging, metrics, and tracing.
  • Exceptional communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence across teams without direct authority.
  • Hands-on experience across the full lifecycle of AI/ML models, from experimentation and prototyping to deployment, monitoring, and iteration in high-volume cloud environments (nice to have).
  • Experience with DevOps and MLOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code, and automated testing frameworks (nice to have).
  • Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes (nice to have).
