Description

  • Research, evaluate, and prototype cutting-edge AI solutions using large language models, computer vision, and machine learning techniques.
  • Design and build scalable, cost-effective AI services and data processing pipelines for high-volume document processing.
  • Develop production AI systems that handle LLM latency, output variance, and reliability challenges.
  • Create prompt engineering strategies and fault-tolerant, defensive AI workflows for consistent production performance.
  • Identify and implement state-of-the-art methods for document classification, entity extraction, image search, and related capabilities.
  • Serve as the primary AI/ML technical authority for the Content portfolio.
  • Mentor and influence a large engineering team as a technical leader and thought partner.
  • Drive mission-critical initiatives from concept through production deployment.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of professional software engineering experience building complex, data-intensive backend systems.
  • 5+ years of experience building and scaling production-grade services with frameworks such as FastAPI, Django, Sanic, Spring Boot, or similar.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience across the full AI/ML model lifecycle, from experimentation and prototyping through deployment, monitoring, and iteration.
  • Strong experience designing large-scale distributed systems with asynchronous patterns, streaming, queuing, caching, and observability.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence engineering direction across multiple teams without direct authority.
  • Proficiency with modern DevOps and MLOps practices, including CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and automated testing frameworks.
  • Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience operating AI/ML systems in a high-volume cloud environment.
