Description

  • Research, architect, and pioneer solutions for extracting intelligent insights from unstructured documents and multimedia files.
  • Serve as the chief technical authority for AI innovation in the content portfolio.
  • Evaluate and prototype cutting-edge approaches using large language models, computer vision, and related techniques.
  • Design and build scalable, cost-effective AI services and data processing pipelines for high-volume document processing.
  • Develop fault-tolerant production systems that handle LLM latency, variance, and other operational challenges.
  • Create prompt engineering strategies and other defensive techniques to improve consistency in production AI workflows.
  • Lead efforts in document ingestion, classification, entity extraction, image search, and similar content intelligence capabilities.
  • Mentor engineers and act as a force multiplier for the broader engineering organization.
  • Drive mission-critical initiatives from architecture through production delivery.

Requirements

  • 14+ years of professional software engineering experience building complex, data-intensive backend systems.
  • 8+ years of experience building and scaling production-grade services with frameworks such as FastAPI, Django, Spring Boot, or similar.
  • Deep expertise in designing large-scale distributed systems.
  • Strong knowledge of asynchronous patterns, streaming, queuing, and caching strategies.
  • Experience with robust observability practices, including logging, metrics, and tracing.
  • Exceptional communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to influence engineering direction across multiple teams without direct authority.
  • Hands-on experience across the full lifecycle of AI/ML models, from experimentation and prototyping to deployment, monitoring, and iteration in high-volume cloud environments. (Nice to have)
  • Proficiency with DevOps and MLOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and automated testing frameworks. (Nice to have)
  • Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes. (Nice to have)
