Description

  • Define and evolve the Developer Experience strategy in partnership with engineering leadership.
  • Align Core Developer Experience and Cloud/Platform DX efforts across teams.
  • Improve the end-to-end developer journey and avoid local optimization or fragmentation.
  • Establish and standardize developer productivity metrics and engineering insights.
  • Guide the evolution of internal developer platforms and self-service capabilities.
  • Drive reliability, speed, and predictability in CI/CD systems.
  • Lead adoption of AI-enabled SDLC practices across teams.
  • Partner with engineering, SRE, and platform teams to influence direction without direct ownership.
  • Act as a technical leader and mentor for DevEx thinking and execution.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in Developer Experience, Platform Engineering, and large-scale engineering systems.
  • Strong software engineering background with deep systems and operational thinking.
  • Proven track record of defining and driving cross-organizational technical strategy.
  • Experience working across platform, cloud, CI/CD, and developer tooling domains.
  • Strong experience with internal developer platforms (IDP) and self-service ecosystems.
  • Deep understanding of developer productivity metrics and engineering insights such as DORA and DX.
  • Experience improving CI/CD systems for reliability, speed, and predictability at scale.
  • Ability to align multiple teams and stakeholders without direct authority.
  • Recent experience driving or adopting AI-enabled development workflows across the SDLC.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills across engineering and leadership levels.
  • Experience with cloud-native architectures and Kubernetes-based platforms.
  • Familiarity with progressive delivery tools and practices such as feature flags and canary releases.
  • Familiarity with frontend platforms or microfrontend architectures is preferred.
  • Availability in EST or UK timezone is preferred.

  • Base compensation range of $246,000 to $339,000 USD.
