Description

  • Cold call, prospect, and initiate new business conversations with corporate intelligence departments.
  • Conduct frequent technical demonstrations of the platform to prospective customers.
  • Build relationships with prospects and guide them through the full sales cycle from discovery to close.
  • Research opportunities and develop pipeline to meet or exceed quota.
  • Manage product trials and work closely with Product Specialists to support customer engagement and purchase decisions.
  • Forecast sales activity accurately and report pipeline status.
  • Gather and share product feedback from clients and prospects with sales and product teams.
  • Negotiate deals and close new business in a full 360 sales role.

Requirements

  • Experience selling into corporate vertical markets such as Technology, Media and Telecom, Consumer Packaged Goods, Life Sciences, Professional Services, or Energy and Industrials.
  • Experience in SaaS sales, preferably focused on financial information and/or research solutions.
  • Proven ability to build pipeline, manage a high volume of product trials, and lead complex negotiations.
  • Strong understanding of what sales activities drive success and consistent quota attainment.
  • Demonstrated work ethic, initiative, enthusiasm, and a tenacious attitude.
  • Ability to ask insightful questions and uncover business challenges across all organizational levels, from analysts to C-level executives.
  • Ability to explain complex financial data and concepts to non-financial audiences.
  • Comfort communicating virtually via video, by phone, and in writing.
  • Coachable mindset with openness to feedback and continuous improvement.
  • Knowledge of buyer personas in Corporate Strategy, Market Intelligence, Business Development, M&A, Investor Relations, and research-related functions.
