Description

  • Serve as the product and technical subject matter expert for Alpaca’s platform across diverse stakeholders.
  • Act as a regional expert on regulations, compliance, and jurisdictional requirements.
  • Partner closely with Sales and Customer Success throughout the client lifecycle.
  • Present product and technical use cases to prospective clients and build confidence in Alpaca’s capabilities.
  • Translate complex business and technical requirements into clear, simple solutions.
  • Create sales support materials and documentation for new features and products.
  • Own technical sales engagements end-to-end, including discovery calls, solution validation, RFPs, and questionnaires.
  • Lead demo strategy and execution with technical narratives that help convert prospects into customers.
  • Stay aligned with product development timelines and help test and roll out new features to partners.
  • Travel as needed to support sales activities and customer engagements.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Sales Engineering, Solutions Engineering, Technical Consulting, Technical Product Management, or Partner Engineering in a client-facing role.
  • Experience working at API-first or SaaS-first companies.
  • Strong technical background with hands-on experience using APIs, WebSockets, Postman, Grafana, and JSON.
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into simple, understandable terms.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously and work independently with minimal guidance.
  • High attention to detail and ability to drive projects to completion.
  • Proficiency in speaking Korean.
  • Startup mindset with a self-starter approach and willingness to help define new processes.
  • Preferred experience working at a Broker-Dealer or FinTech company.
  • Preferred experience closing enterprise deals alongside Account Executives.
  • Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) and/or Series 7 certification preferred.
  • Familiarity with Metabase preferred.
  • Experience with Coast demo software preferred.
  • Experience with FIX eXchange protocol preferred.
  • Experience with OpenAPI, ReadMe, and documentation preferred.
