Description

  • Maintain and improve complex forecasting models and lead the quarterly and annual budgeting process.
  • Build financial models for scenario planning, initiative evaluation, cash flow forecasting, and investment analysis.
  • Assist with and eventually lead monthly and quarterly financial close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly reports for internal management, team presentations, investors, board meetings, and fundraising materials.
  • Perform variance analysis on financial results and key business metrics using internal models and dashboards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting, resource allocation, and hiring decisions.
  • Handle ad hoc requests, special projects, and detailed analyses such as product profitability and risk assessments.
  • Support investor communications and other strategic finance processes as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • 5–8 years of experience in Finance, FP&A, or Strategic Finance, ideally in fintech, brokerage, payments, or SaaS.
  • Strong understanding of financial modeling, forecasting, and key SaaS/fintech metrics such as ARR, CAC/LTV, gross margin, and net revenue retention.
  • Experience in a growth-stage, venture-backed company or financial services environment preferred.
  • Proven ability to partner with cross-functional teams and support departmental budget management.
  • CFA, MBA, or an advanced finance certification preferred.
  • Experience analyzing revenues from trading platforms, recurring subscriptions, and brokerage services preferred.
  • Team leadership or cross-functional project management experience in tech environments preferred.
  • Knowledge of statistical or machine learning tools for advanced forecasting preferred.
  • Experience at both large companies and startups preferred.
